GOODBYE, BLONDIE! :)

Hello blog world, its been a while.


The last few months have been super hectic and crazy, not so much with work or school, but with myself. I just haven't been feeling...complete, lately.. if that makes any sense. I just seemed to lose all energy and positivity for a while, and just went through a bit of a rough time emotionally. A new semester has started though and I decided that I need to put all the negativity aside and just focus on the good stuff.. or at least try to. SO..with this being said, I did something drastic the other day which really brightened me up :D ...I got rid of my platinum blonde hair and dyed it a dark reddish-brown. I. LOVE. IT. 


My hair has been blonde all my life... 21 years. Naturally it is quite dark blonde, but I had been bleaching it for about four years... which really took a toll on it. Not only was it not as shiny from all the bleaching, but it broke off, fell out, and just looked cheap after a while...especially when those dark roots decided to show up -.-

BEFORE:

As you can see, my hair is really bleached here...and the roots are clearly showing and don't look all that appealing -.-

I started bleaching my hair when it was right above shoulder length... I'm AMAZED that I was able to grow it so long!! Luckily I didn't need to have much of it snipped off :)

Right before getting the filler & color put in! Please excuse the weird face/pose lol. So glad I got rid of that color, look how washed out it made me look!! yuckkkk.

AFTER:

Result: reddish dark brown color. I'm completely in love with it :)

My hair once again looks somewhat thick and shiny :) :)

I'm so happy with my hair "transformation"!!! It definitely made me feel I got a mood boost :) I dunno about you but I think the darker color suits me a lot better... and I don't plan on going back blonde any time soon!!
